Several months ago I tried out Etacts Gmail Plugin. At that time it just didn't seem to work for me at all.
Then recently - prompted by an email from Etacts - I tried it again. And I have to say I'm really liking it! Whenever I look at an email, relevant information about the person the email is from appears in the sidebar based on what Etacts can pick up from my social networks.
It even picks up publicly available info about people I'm not directly linked to and so suddenly I have a lot more info at my fingertips when I'm talking to people I may not know that well.
A useful additional tool!

Ever sent an email and thought, I must follow up on that in a day or two and then forgotten all about its until a couple of weeks later? Well try Followupthen. Just bcc: 3days@followupthen and 3 days later you get an email reminder. Or wednesday@followupthen... or 2weeks@followupthen.
Handy.

Awesome Screenshot
I've been using Awesome Screenshot quite a lot lately and I think it's great. For capturing and sharing screenshots it's on my 'indispensable' list. Check it out!

See Techcrunch article
But maybe it has some uses as a knowledge capture device ?

Another new toy!
I was at a KIN member office last week and he had the latest take on an old favourite - the polaroid camera. Brilliant for meetings where say, you are capturing people's outputs on separate flipcharts - it could be a nice touch to be able to put their picture on it straight away. Useful for immediate visual feedback. And you still have the digital image which you can upload later.
